- Do students pay?
- Never. Students join a class with a link or a code and use Echelio for free. Only the teacher or the school pays.
- How does the free trial work?
- The Teacher plan starts with 14 days free, one trial per card. Checkout takes your card, nothing is charged before the trial ends, and we email you before it does. Cancel before the end and you pay nothing.
- Can I cancel or switch between monthly and yearly?
- Yes, any time from the billing settings in Echelio. Cancelling stops the renewal at the end of the period you have paid for; a period already started is not refunded.
- How do schools pay?
- By invoice, usually once a year. Tell us about your school and we send a quote based on your number of students, then set up your organization with you.
- I’m on the Teacher plan. Can my school take over?
- Yes. Your school invites you to its organization, and joining ends your Teacher plan with no further charge. Your classes and problems stay in your old account; support can move them for you on request.
- Why are prices lower in North Africa?
- Teachers and schools in Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Egypt, Libya, and Mauritania get a lower price. It follows the country you visit from, and Morocco pays in dirhams.
- Is VAT included?
- No. Prices exclude VAT and sales tax, which are added at checkout or on the invoice where they apply.
